My life was once devoted to the Bible. I passionately shared its teachings, convinced it was historical and held the ultimate truth. I began briefly in Pentecostalism, then turned to Adventism. Later, I explored Hebrew Israel-ism, intrigued by its perspectives. For years, I embraced the historical narratives taught in church without question and at face value. But everything changed when I stumbled upon akin motifs in mythology. The striking similarities between biblical accounts and ancient myths led me to investigate history claims and theology more deeply. As I examined the evidence, I found parallels between ancient myths, which ignited a journey of critical investigation challenging everything I had believed. This turning point was challenging but liberating. It forced me to confront deeper questions about truth, belief, and the stories we live by.
The concept behind Thoughts Camera Action likely represented a dynamic and creative expression of your beliefs at the time—a way to document and share your thoughts (like capturing them with a camera) in a vivid, action-oriented manner. It encapsulates a sense of movement, passion, and engagement with your faith.
With Sound and Logical, the focus shifts toward critical thinking and reason. The name reflects a commitment to approaching ideas and beliefs from a foundation of sound reasoning and logical analysis. A perspective rooted in evidence, coherence, and openness to new interpretations rather than accepting things at face value.
Initially, with Thoughts Camera Action, the concept was to passionately share understanding of biblical teachings, capturing and expressing thoughts and convictions dynamically and visually. A platform to explore theological insights, historical narratives, and cultural perspectives through the lens of my bible faith.
As Sound and Logical, the concept shifted toward fostering a community centered on critical thinking, skepticism, and open inquiry. The channel became a place to challenge creed, canon, dogma, question historical and theological claims, and encourage viewers to think critically about what they believe and why. Moving from unquestioning acceptance to a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to understanding the world.
“We swallow greedily any lie that flatters us, but we sip only little by little at a truth we find bitter.”— Denis Diderot
